He did his M.Sc. in Physics (with specialization in electronics) from School of Studies in Physics, Jiwaji University Gwalior (MP). He earned the degree of Doctorate of Philosophy for his work on ‘Growth and Properties of ZnO Nanoparticles’ from the same University. He has worked as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at School of Power and Mechanical Engineering, Wuhan University, Wuhan, PR China.
He has more than fifteen years of teaching/research experience. He has served in prestigious institutions like, Shriram Institute of Information Technology and Management Gwalior, ITM University Gwalior, Manav Rachna University Faridabad, Bahra University Wakhnaghat etc. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor of Physics in the Department of Higher Education, Govt. of Himachal Pradesh. He is presently posted at Vallabh Govt. College Mandi H.P.
His broad area of research interest is experimental materials science. His research mainly focuses on the fabrication and characterization of thin films and nanomaterials for opto-electronic applications, transparent and conducting oxides, diluted magnetic semiconductors for spintronics, and chemical/gas sensors etc. He has published a number of research papers in peer reviewed international journals. He is a life member of Him Science Congress Association.
